Kincaid opens first metro Washington dedicated store

ASHBURN, Va. — Solid-wood furniture manufacturer Kincaid has opened its first metro Washington Kincaid


Home Furnishings store in the Ashbrook Commons Plaza here.

The full-line store features a variety of bedroom, dining room, upholstery, entertainment and occasional furnishings, and an in-store design center.

Bill Dixon and Jim Meagher are co-owners of the 11,550-square-foot store, which sells over 20 collections of Kincaid furniture in fully accessorized vignettes.

The store also offers two private-label lines, Maestro by Kincaid casual dining and Serta-made mattresses.

Headquartered in Hudson, N.C., Kincaid is a subsidiary of La-Z-Boy and was founded by George and J. Wade Kincaid in 1946. The company now has over 20 owner-operated stores and 140 in-store galleries across the country.
