KooKoo Bear Kids, an online, catalog, and retail store that focuses on juvenile furniture and gifts, is launching its


own exclusive line of children’s furniture at the request of customers.

The collection, dubbed Nicole, includes an armoire, bed, dresser, mirror,  nightstand, desk with hutch and a bookshelf, all hand-finished for a classic  vintage look. The pieces feature hand-carved details and turned legs and are made from solid pine and poplar woods.

“As a mother of three, I looked everywhere for  affordable, solidly built, quality wood furniture that could be used by the  kids from childhood through adulthood,” said Tara Mediate, president of KooKoo  Bear Kids. “Customers wanted the same, yet it was no where to be found, so I designed the furniture myself to be practical, beautiful, and timeless even as  tastes and lifestyles change.”
The Nicole collection is certified for safety and meets all American Society for Testing and Materials safety guidelines. The group appears in this month’s early summer catalog and is available online or  in the retail store.
