Lady Jayne acquired by original founder

— Home Accents Today,
Jayne Morse, the founder and original creative director of Lady Jayne Ltd., has re-purchased

the company from the private equity firm RAF Industries.

Jayne is re-joining the company as its creative director, and Gregory Morse, her son, is also joining the company as its president.

Barbara Rosenberg, who was the national sales manager at Lady Jayne for eight years, will be re-joining the company in the same position. Rosenberg will manage Lady Jayne’s relationships with its independent sales representatives.

“I want to be candid and open about the state of Lady Jayne Ltd.,” said Jayne Morse. “It has been tough the last few years with a number of management missteps across the company. The lines the company developed weren’t as strong as they should have been. With this acquisition and new management, I aim to change that. We already have the best pipeline of new products I’ve seen coming out of this company in years and a great team on board to make sure all this happens without a hitch.

“I also want to assure our great customers, that we are 100% committed to making sure we do a better job managing our inventory so that we can ship what you want, when you want it. We also guarantee that only old, discontinued merchandise will go to discounters.”

In addition to its regular spring and fall catalogs, Lady Jayne is going to be introducing products more frequently, adding several more product releases to the schedule.
