Las Vegas Market to expand shuttle service

Furniture Today,
LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Market has enhanced its

shuttle system for next month’s market by adding service to McCarran Airport and offering limited service for two days prior to the show’s official opening.

The expanded transportation system also features extended operating hours on market days, an express route to the temporary exhibit spaces at Cashman Center, and more transportation staff members at host hotels.

“We have taken steps to improve the overall transportation program to ensure the very best experience and to give buyers, exhibitors and reps the most convenient shuttle service possible,” said Michelle Monteferrante, the World Market Center’s show director.

The transportation system also has a new logo and a brand name, M-Line.

During the two days prior to the Jan. 29 market opening, shuttles will operate between the WMC and 12 of the market’s 26 host hotels from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Full shuttle service between the WMC and all host hotels will operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on opening day, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Jan. 30 through Feb. 1, and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 2.

Shuttles between the host hotels and Cashman Center will begin at 7 a.m. Jan. 30, the first day that venue is open.

Service to the airport will begin at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 31 from the WMC and Cashman Center, with departures scheduled every 30 minutes until 7 p.m. (The final departure on Feb. 2 is 5:30 p.m.)

All shuttles are free except the airport service, which costs $15.
