Lifestyle trends drive The Gardens’ new look, name in Atlanta

Casual Living,
Atlanta’s Gift & Home Accessories Market to be held Jan. 9-17

A sophisticated new design and moniker sets in motion Phase I of a makeover that will transform the look of The Gardens, floors 14 and 15 in building one of AmericasMart in Atlanta. Newly christened “AmericasMart’s Casual Living & Home Decor,” the center embraces the product advances and ongoing lifestyle trend that blurs the lines between products and home furnishings historically appropriate for outdoors and those utilized inside. The center was completed this month.

Retailer and exhibitor customers alike will discover a warm and inviting new look providing the backdrop for extraordinary home furnishings products housed on these two floors and featuring more than 200,000 square feet of space. The product mix is comprised of indoor/outdoor casual furnishings and decorative accessories; fountains & statuary; indoor/outdoor lighting; mailboxes; birding products; hearth; wind chimes; weather vanes; pottery; planters; gardening tools, baskets, apparel and much more.

Redesigned and renovated elevator lobbies, updated signage and other new design elements will better complement the unique and diverse product mix.

“As people expand their living space by renovating and merchandising the outdoors, retailers rely on us for ideas and products to create and enhance their customers’ outdoor living areas,” says Karen Greaber, vice president of leasing. “We’ve captured this movement and are helping buyers better understand the importance of this growing product category.”
