“This is a perfect opportunity for potential buyers to view properties available along Baja’s Gold Cost and at the same time enjoy Mexican culture,” said Rafael Liceaga, president of Investing In Baja’s Oceanfront.

The exposition, the fourth in an ongoing series, will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 6, 7, and 8. Major developers along Baja’s Gold Coast from Tijuana to Ensenada will be featured, along with daily seminars on buying property in Baja.

The event is free and open to the public and selected hotels are offering discounts. Exposition sponsors include the state of Baja. Complete information is available on www.bajasoceanfront.com, a prime source for purchasing property in Baja.

The first IBO last October attracted about 2,000 potential buyers interested in oceanfront vacation, investment or retirement homes with excellent annual appreciation and at a fraction of U.S. prices. About $35 million in property was sold.

In recent years, thousands of people have bought property along Baja’s coast. They have been attracted by the area’s perfect weather, rich culture, low prices and short commute to the U.S.

Recent changes in Mexican real estate law and the availability of title insurance make buying easy and totally secure. Those will be discussed at seminars during the exposition.

In addition, a companion expo will showcase handmade Mexican furniture and crafts, which are enjoying a renaissance along with the Baja building boom. Many of the thousands of Americans who are buying in Baja furnish their homes with the exceptional work of local craftsmen.

The event includes a Mexican food festival on Oct. 8 sponsored by the Association of Rosarito Restaurants; plus Oct. 7 performances of folklorico dance of Panama, with representation from the Mexican states of Colima, Tamaulipas, Chiapas and Nuevo Leon, hosted by groups from Tijuana and Rosarito.

There also will be an exhibit by the area’s burgeoning artist community to further highlight the area’s rich culture and traditions. Rosarito is home to many artists and galleries.
