NEW YORK — Valerie Moran, a 21-year veteran and CEO of high-end French furniture maker Grange, has left the company and its affiliated Aga Home.
Moran will become president of B&B Italia, a high-end Italian furniture producer, said Krista Freibaum, marketing coordinator for Grange and Moran’s former executive assistant.
Moran and officials from B&B Italia in New York could not be reached for comment.
Moran had been CEO of Grange since 1991 and earlier this year was named vice president of marketing, fashion and brand development for Aga Home, an umbrella company that brought together the upscale consumer brands of Aga Foodservice Group of the United Kingdom. Aga acquired the 31-store Domain or Norwood, Mass., in 2002 and owns a 75% stake in Grange, which operates two stores in Canada and 14 trade showrooms in the United States.
Barry Panson, former vice president and general merchandise manager at Grange, is now president and chief operating officer of the company. “We’re currently looking for someone to fill the position of marketing and brand development,†said Sue Beddia, Domain’s spokeswoman said.
