Morin elected to Sealy board

ARCHDALE — Gary Morin, a former executive of Lexmark International, has been elected to Sealy Corp.’s board of directors.


The bedding major said Morin would serve on the board’s audit committee.

He was Lexmark’s executive vice president and chief financial officer from 2000 until his retirement in 2012. Earlier, he held senior finance and operations posts at Huffy Corp. and Tambrands.

“He will provide great financial stewardship as a member of our audit committee, and his broad business experience with a number of leading consumer product companies will be a real asset to Sealy,” said David McIlquham, Sealy’s chairman and CEO.
