ASHEBORO, N.C. — Klaussner Furniture Inds. has added Chris Rayle to the case goods merchandising team of its Klaussner International unit.


Rayle will be product manager for the occasional table, entertainment and casual dining product lines. In the newly created post, he reports to Darren York, vice president of merchandising.

For the past five years, Rayle was in charge of sample procurement and product development at Prime Resources International, a container-direct import company. Earlier, he held sales and product development posts at Apollo Inds. and was a sales representative for Davis Inds. in High Point.

“Chris brings product knowledge, sales experience and sourcing capabilities to this position,” York said. “Not only is his experience valuable, but his enthusiasm and willingness to grow the business is exciting for our company.”
