PALATINE, Ill. — Top 15 bedding producer Restonic has added two executives to its senior management.
Bedding veteran Patrick O’Brien has been named vice president of commercial sales, while quality assurance expert William Hornbuckle has been named director of operations.
O’Brien has worked for companies including Simmons, Ashley Furniture, Serta and Spring Air Mattress Co. of Tampa, Fla. He will be responsible for the contract and OEM divisions for Restonic.
O’Brien replaces Ron Fouse, who retired earlier this year to pursue a real estate venture with his wife. He reports to Donna Amatulli Favia, vice president of sales and marketing.
Hornbuckle has more than 25 years of experience in quality, research and development and operations, at the corporate level and as an independent consultant specializing in quality assurance and lean manufacturing.
In his position, a new one for Restonic, he will be part of the team responsible for development and implementation of Restonic’s flammability program for the upcoming national mattress FR standard, said Carlene Evenson Peterson, Restonic’s president.
Hornbuckle has worked in the mattress, automotive and steel industries. He reports to Peterson.
