SEFFNEER, Fla. — Rooms To Go is looking at opening stores in Houston next year, according to a story in the Houston Business Journal.
The report said RTG CEO Jeff Seaman confirmed the Top 100 chain is considering Houston or another unnamed metropolitan area of a similar size. He said details would follow in about three months.
Seaman could not be reached immediately for comment.
RTG, with about 116 stores and $1.8 billion in sales in 2013, operates stores throughout Florida as well as in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas, where it has stores in greater Dallas, Austin and San Antonio.
