Rugmark’s annual rug raffle, a fund-raiser to support the group’s mission to eliminate child labor in the rug industry, has arrived.


Five handmade rugs created and donated by some of the industry’s top designers will be raffled off to raise funds for Rugmark.

The average cost of these luxury rugs is $7,000 and you can enter to win by making a donation of $25. With a $100 contribution, you’ll have five chances to win and for $200, you’ll receive a 10-ticket package.

All proceeds will support Rugmark’s ongoing work to eliminate child labor from the handmade rug industry and to offer educational opportunities to children in India, Pakistan and Nepal.

The drawing will take place on Sept. 13 at Dwell magazine’s “Designing Justice in a Modern World” event to be held in San Francisco. You need not be present to win.
