LOS ANGELES — Case goods resource Sandberg Furniture has hired Todd Banik as vice president of design and product development, a new post. 


He is responsible for product development in both the imported Platinum Collection and domestically produced Sandberg brands. He reports to President and CEO John Sandberg.

Banik most recently was vice president of merchandising and product development at importer and manufacturer Lexington Home Brands. Earlier, he was corporate buyer at Treasures Furniture, a high-end Top 100 store based in Poway, Calif., and also worked with retailers Robb & Stucky, American Home Furnishings and Gabberts.

“He will be working directly with our dealers, our designers and our suppliers.” said Sandberg. “We could not be more pleased with the synergies that his addition will create.”
