Toland Enterprises sold

— Home Accents Today,
Toland Enterprises Vice President Bruce Solly has acquired the Toland assets and brand.

The company will now be known as Toland Home & Garden. Solly was previously Toland’s vice president of marketing/product development.

“Thirty years ago, my wife Jill and I started Toland Enterprises with the dream of providing new products to the specialty retail market based on functional art and design, and for the past three decades, we’ve had the privilege of pioneering innovative new product categories — such as decorative floor mats and decorative flags for home and garden décor — which have become industry staples,” said David T. Sands, founder of Toland Enterprises. “We feel that Toland’s legacy could not have been passed into better hands. Bruce is widely respected in our industry, having been a true leader in the development of garden gifts and ‘garden lifestyle’ products.”

David and Jill Sands will continue to serve as consultants for the company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Toland Home & Garden’s new product collection will debut at the winter 2014 national gift shows.
