The Western Home Furnishings Assn.’s Retailer Resource Center is up and running for the market.


The RRC is located in the World Market Center, space 210, and in an additional space in the Las Vegas Convention Center, space S72542, which is upstairs in the South Hall.

“During the January Vegas market, we had retailers come to the RRC every day, whether it was just to rest their feet or to hold an impromptu meeting,” said Sharron Bradley, WHFA executive director. “Retailers see the value of having a place at market where they can relax and do business.”

On tap at the RRC for this market are the following:

· Free educational seminars:  This market’s schedule includes seminars with a range of key business topics.

“We have received such a strong response to our seminars from the industry that everyone wants to participate,” said Bradley. “This has created a wealth of industry knowledge and information and has allowed us to provide top-of-the-line, unique and educational seminars during the market.”

· Industry trade show: This features an array of information, including more than 50 product and service providers who will be on hand to demonstrate the latest technologies, answer questions and offer advice on a variety of topics, ranging from sales to importing and everything in between.

The Las Vegas Convention Center space will host the RRC satellite industry trade show, with some of the industry’s most noteworthy vendors and service providers.

· Free Internet café: The RRC is offering free Internet access to retailers who need to contact their office or customers.

· Free coffee/drinks bar: The RRC is providing complimentary gourmet coffee, hot and cold drinks, and fresh-baked cookies.

· Special event: WHFA’s member appreciation party will be today from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at WMC, space 210.
