Wiygul promoted to Bauhaus USA president

MONROE, Mich. — La-Z-Boy has promoted James “Al” Wiygul as president of its Bauhaus USA division.


He has been vice president, operations, for the contemporary upholstery producer since 2002.

He reports to Rodney England, president of La-Z-Boy non-branded upholstery.

“Al has been an integral part of the senior management team at Bauhaus and has excellent relationships with our customer base,” said Kurt Darrow, La-Z-Boy president and CEO. “He is a results-oriented manager and a strategic team thinker who has demonstrated the ability to lead the team at Bauhaus.”

Wiygul succeeds Steve Pilgrim, who left the company last month. Britt Allred remains vice president of sales at Bauhaus.

Before joining Bauhaus, Wiygul held senior posts in manufacturing management at Berkline and Stratford Mfg.
