There’s a KWWL follow-up on the closure of Evans Furniture in Waterloo. Stores in Waterloo and the Quad Cities closed abruptly earlier this month. Dozens of customers say they paid for furniture they have not received.


The Iowa Attorney General’s Office issued subpoenas for Jack Evans and his daughter, Angela Evans, who apparently runs the company. They’re supposed to appear in Des Moines on Tuesday. But so far, the Scott County Attorney’s Office says the subpoena for Angela Evans has not been served.
