COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Unfinished Furniture Assn. holds its 15th annual National Convention and Trade Show July 15-18 here at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.


This event is dedicated to unfinished furniture, accessories and related products.

Education Day on July 15 will feature money-saving, business-building strategies to help retailers better run their businesses.

Keynote speaker Leza Raffel of the Communication Solutions Group will present “Mega Marketing on a Shoestring Budget.” She will examine the UFA’s newest endeavor, an industry marketing campaign geared to debunking consumer misperceptions about unfinished furniture.

A series of informal breakout sessions will cover such topics as Optimum Advertising To Fit Any Budget, Maximizing the Certification Program in Your Store, Attracting Consumers Through Store Image, and Finishing Profit.

 Other highlights include a one-day marketing exhibit where members can meet one-on-one with the association’s resident marketing expert, plus a barbecue, an ad contest and a new product showcase.
