DJM Asset Management LLC, the retained real estate advisor for bankrupt Workbench Furniture Inc., will work to sell and/or close 27 of the furniture company’s retail locations.


The locations are located throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Two of the company’s warehouses in Raleigh, N.C., and Bayone, N.J., are also being made available. The marketed locations range from 1,920 sq. ft. to 24,632 sq. ft. in central business districts, freestanding buildings and strip center locations, according to Emilio Amendola, principal of DJM.
