The Winston Salem Journal (http://www.journalnow.com) ran an article on 7/12/06 that explained that the “The International Home Furnishings Market Authority said yesterday that it is getting the word out that early shopping won’t be allowed anymore in the major showroom buildings.”


The IHFMA has asked market participants and showroom buildings to abide by the Monday opening instead of following the pattern of recent years of allowing larger buyers to start shopping 2-3 days early and leaving early as well.
