International fair for furniture, household equipment and public structures, raw materials and furniture industry machines “MEBEL 2013” was opened Tuesday at Skopje Fair, where 400 domestic and foreign participants would display their products.

Visitors will be able to see wide range of classical and modern lines of furniture, furniture on order, decorative and other household elements, public facilities and business space, products and equipment for interior and exterior arrangement, lighting, decorative materials and other additional equipment.

Exhibitors come from Macedonia, Croatia, Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia & Montenegro, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Belgium, Great Britain and Finland.

Minister of Economy Fatmir Besimi opened the fair, saying that the manifestation should attract the interest of domestic and foreign visitors, and help in establishing production commercial cooperation.

“The performance at this fair is of huge significance for furniture producers, which will acquaint themselves with the latest technical-technological achievements in equipment and materials for the needs of the lumber industry, but it is also important for establishment of commercial cooperation among companies and direct meeting with the end-buyers”, Minister Besimi stressed.

Moreover, 70 exhibits will compete for award “Fair Globe”, which will be presented during the fair. sks/ik/15:43
