HIGH POINT — Jeff Katz has been promoted to the new position of vice president, corporate sales and merchandising, at manufacturer Schnadig.


In addition to his current role of managing corporate sales, Katz is now responsible for the merchandising division, including case goods, upholstery and occasional product development.

He reports to President and CEO Alan Cole. 

Katz joined Schnadig in February from Broyhill Furniture, where he was senior vice president of sales and marketing.

“Jeff has quickly demonstrated his abilities as a broadly experienced executive with a high sense of urgency,” said Cole. “His assumption of the responsibilities for this area of our business will further allow for more intensive focus from all of our executives on very important strategic planning and execution issues.”
