Spak, Keith Jackson to split sales, merchandising duties at Jackson/Catnapper

Furniture Today,
CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Randy Spak, the former Lane executive who joined upholstery resource Jackson Furniture Inds. last month, will split sales and merchandising duties at the company with Keith Jackson.

Spak has responsibility for the Catnapper motion division, while Jackson will continue to handle the Jackson/Shamrock division. Both are senior vice presidents and report to CEO Ron Jackson.

Keith Jackson had been handling both divisions for about the past year while a search was under way.

Spak worked at Lane for 20 years, leaving the company last year as president. Before joining Lane, he was vice president of the upholstery division of Simmons.

“Randy’s experience in all marketing-related functions, as well as his familiarity with the import side of the motion business, will fit well with JFI’s already established global sourcing strategy,” said Ron Jackson. “We are proud to have such an accomplished professional as Mr. Spak join the JFI organization, and we are excited about JFI’s future with such a strong senior management team in place.”
