In keeping with aspenhome’sâ„¢ commitment to customer care and satisfaction, aspenhome introduced the “A Team” awards


last July to its corporate staff. Twice a year aspenhome celebrates the achievements of employees that go beyond the call of duty to better serve their customers and clients on a continuing basis.

They are employees that exemplify the goal of “Better Information + Better Decisions + Faster Shipments + Dedicated Employees = Happier Customers.”

As always, competition is tough. The superior candidates are nominated by their department heads and reviewed by a panel of judges who select just four winners in January and four winners in July.

In January 2013 the A Team winners were employees that “got it, got it right and got it moving,” according to Johanna Fina-Spoks, aspenhome Human Resources Director. “They kept our products moving better, quicker, faster and cheaper above and beyond their job responsibilities.”

The January 2013 A Team winners were:
Sal Martinez- Shipping Supervisor
Beverly Doherty- Customer Service Representative
Lynn Kulhman- Parts Administrator
Michelle Casciola- Import Order Coordinator

In July 2013 the A Team winners were employees that “went the extra mile to better serve our customers and clients each day,” Fina-Spokas stated.

The July 2013 A Team winners were:
Kim Morrison- Marketing Coordinator
Stephen Bodine- Programmer/Report Writer
Beatrice Estrada- Data Entry
Antonio Murillo- Inventory Control

The winning A Team employees received an all expense paid three-day trip for two to the Las Vegas Furniture Market where they saw the company in action. They were treated to dinners, shows and accommodations. The A Team winners also received a commemorative watch specially designed with the “A Team” logo and their names displayed on a plaque in the corporate lobby.
