Goldner Hawn sells furniture design company

by Katharine Grayson
Private equity firm Goldner Hawn, Johnson & Morrison said Tuesday that it has sold Samuel Lawrence Furniture Co. (SLF), an Arizona company that designs and markets furniture.

Goldner Hawn did not disclose the terms of the sale. SLF was bought by Pulaski Furniture, in Pulaski, Va.

Pulaski Furniture and Phoenix-based SLF will merge to form a new holding company, Home Meridian International.

Minneapolis-based Goldner Hawn acquired SLF in 1997. Since that time, the firm helped SLF begin distributing its products globally, Goldner Hawn said in a press statement.
