Police: Man shoots brother in face during argument over furniture

A man is accused of shooting his brother in the face with a shotgun in a fight over a broken headboard for a bed Sunday in Fremont.

Fremont Police Detective Tony Emrich said Lamar Curtis Lee, whose age was not immediately available, was in critical condition today at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo with injuries to the head resulting from the blast. His brother, Ular Davis, of 1268 Liberty St., is being held without bond at the Sandusky County Jail on one count of attempted murder.

Emrich said the incident is still under investigation. It appears the two were moving furniture when a headboard was dropped and broke on the driveway at 1268 Liberty St. about 5:40 p.m. An argument ensued and Davis shot Lee in the face with a single round from a .16 gauge shotgun, Emrich said.
