Will launch branded furniture line in October
Tag has acquired Chicago-based furniture resource Parallel Lines. 


Tag will maintain the company’s current operations and launch a new line of Tag branded furniture and related home furnishings product. Tag branded furniture will debut with a soft launch during the upcoming High Point Market, with a hard launch planned for March.

“Furniture is a logical addition to the Tag brand and we are pleased to be able to go forward with an experienced and successful organization,” said Tag’s Norman Glassberg.

David Lapin, Parallel Lines founder, who will join Tag and lead the furniture effort, describes the sale of his company as “a great opportunity to partner with a terrific brand.”

Tag will immediately occupy Parallel Lines showroom space in IHFC H503 during the October show.
