SARATOGA SPRINGS — Taft Furniture is bringing its living room, dining room and bedroom suites to the

Spa City with the opening of the Albany company’s second store.

Located in the Route 50 plaza that houses Price Chopper supermarket and Eckerd pharmacy, the new store will take up residence in the 45,000-square-foot building once occupied by Ames Department Store.

It will open in two or three weeks after exterior work on the facility is finished, said John Mulcahy, Taft president and chief executive officer.
