 MAKKAH, — A Saudi wife was left speechless when she returned home after spending the Eid

vacation with her family to find her furniture missing, reported the Al-Nadwa newspaper. The wife discovered that even her clothes and jewelry were missing and contacted her husband and told him about the “theft.” Later that day, the wife received a call from a woman, who told her that her husband had taken the furniture to furnish the home of his second wife, whom he had secretly wed. The first wife confronted her husband and asked for a divorce. The husband was soon in double trouble as his second wife, on finding out about the first wife, too asked for a divorce on the grounds that he had lied to her by saying he was unmarried and worse by furnishing her home with his first wife’s furniture. Wifeless, the husband was left to rue his fate with the furniture.
