Robert and Marcia Gilbreth, owners of FurnitureKidz, Algonquin, Ill. recently opened their second store in Kildeer with a dedicated Young America Signature Shop.
“Young America became the ideal partner because they help our customers walk through the purchase, from crib to teen, and show them how the furniture will flow and look through all the stages,†said Robert Gilbreth. “Being able to show a large number of collections, each with a wide selection of pieces is a definite advantage because it gives consumers the chance to choose the pieces which best fit their style, the room and their child’s growth.”
FurnitureKidz sells r baby and juvenile furniture, bedding and accessories and the nearly 2,000 sq. ft. Young America Signature Shop is part of the new 6,200 sq. ft. store in the Quentin Collection Shopping Center in Kildeer, nearly double the size of the three-year-old store in Algonquin.
The Gilbreths were joined at the grand opening by their daughter Katrina Drudge who is in the business and Andy Stoltman, Young America sales representative. The celebration included a ribbon cutting and sale event for Young America furniture.
“We are pleased to open our Signature Shop in Kildeer at FurnitureKidz,” said Glenn Prillaman, Stanley Furniture senior vice president of marketing and sales. “Like Young America, FurnitureKidz is committed to helping parents make the best choices for their children.”
