SOMERSET, N.J. — Upper-end recliner and motion furniture specialist Ekornes has named Hunter Bigham as

regional sales manager for the central United States and Canada, a new post.

He was vice president of sales and marketing for Rose Hill Co., a Mississippi-based source of upholstery, occasional tables and entertainment furniture.

At Ekornes, Bigham joins Eastern regional manager Mark Fillhouer and Western regional manager Charlie Waller in overseeing the Norway-based producer’s North American sales representatives.

“As we continue to expand in the central region, we saw a need to get closer to our reps and dealers,” said Peter Bjerregaard, president of Ekornes’ North American unit. “Adding Hunter to our team enables us to do just that.”
