SHANGHAI, China — Stephanie Puckett has joined ET Furniture International/Nice-Link as vice president of design.
ET Furniture/Nice-Link supplies fabric, leather, cut-and-sew services and production of fully upholstered furniture and bedding to several big U.S. upholstery manufacturers. The company has a plant in Haining, China, and marketing and design offices here.
Puckett has been in the fabric industry since 1992, most recently as studio manager for American Silk Mills and earlier as a senior jacquard designer for Chatham and Culp.
She has moved to Shanghai and will oversee the company’s textile design efforts, reporting to CEO Echo Yu.
Yu said the addition of Puckett “is the next step in our goal to be the best upholstery company in China. Her color and fashion sense, combined with her technical expertise, will significantly expand our weaving and product packaging capabilities. That, along with our on-time delivery and superior quality, will complete the package.”
