COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Shelley Parlin has been named director of professional services for retail technology vendor ProfitSystems, a new position


She previously worked at family-owned retailer Parlin Furniture in Battle Creek, Mich.

“Parlin has been a ProfitSystems client for 12 years and has worked with our company very closely over the years to improve their organization,” said ProfitSystems CEO Rick Stark. “She knows every facet of our company. She is intimately familiar with our strategic business units, products and services. I couldn’t think of a more qualified person to head our professional services division.”

Parlin will work with the company’s best practice groups, marketing, and consulting business units.

ProfitSystems is conducting its December Colossal Groups meeting this month in Breckenridge, Colo., with groups meeting for a week of networking, sharing ideas and fine-tuning goals to increase profitability.
