WENATCHEE, Wash. – Crews in Wenatchee are battling a major fire at a furniture warehouse.Â
The blaze at the Davis warehouse broke out around 7:30 a.m. at 125 S. Wenatchee Avenue. An adjacent apartment building was evacuated, along with 60 people from a medical records office. No injuries were reported.
Workers at a store across the alley from the warehouse say they heard a loud pop before the fire broke out. About 50 firefighters are at the scene.
A five-block area was blocked off and fire units were called in from Leavenworth, Cashmere, Waterville, Orondo and Douglas County.
