FORT SMITH, Ark. — Manufacturer and importer Riverside Furniture has promoted Scott Ostrander to chief operating officer. He has been senior vice president of operations since 1999.

He continues to report to President and CEO Buddy Spradlin.

Ostrander joined Riverside in 1987 as a design draftsman and has steadily moved into jobs with increasing responsibility. For the past seven years he has been a board member of the American Home Furnishings Alliance’s Operations Division, and is serving this year as board chairman.
