Klaussner Furniture Industries has partnered with GE Distribution Finance to launch a new set of financial programs that extend repayment terms on both initial display orders and re-order of inventory.
Klaussner said the programs are designed to enhance retailer cash flow and drive growth in the furniture industry.
“The advantageous repayment terms will free up a retailer’s cash, allowing them to have greater purchasing power,” said Jeff Davis, senior vice president of Marketing and Strategic Development for Klaussner Furniture. “These favorable terms will give our licensing partners time to get started in their new businesses before payment is actually due. ”
Through its Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) unit, GE developed new financing programs in response to furniture industry demand for financial tools that will assist retailers who are looking to grow their sales by leveraging longer financing periods.
“Klaussner Furniture is enabling its licensees to stock more products as close to the customer as possible,” said Bill Baptiste, CDF’s senior vice president and Home Furnishings sales director. “The financing programs offer a strong solution to drive revenue and growth through higher credit lines and very competitive rates.”
