Chelsea House selling antique pottery

Pieces hail from ancient Israel

Chelsea House, a furniture and decorative accessories manufacturer, will be selling antique pottery at the International Home Furnishings Market starting this week in High Point.

Most of the pottery for sale at this one-time offering was crafted in Israel and the surrounding region from between 3000 BC to 600 AD.

“While traveling in Egypt and Israel, I came upon these treasures and wanted to share them with our customers,” said Bill Cain, president of Chelsea House.

“This pottery demonstrates that classic design spans the centuries. It shows that even from the beginning of time, people cared about the design of their decorative objects and took the time to make them aesthetically pleasing,”

The pieces include small oil lamps, water jugs and other vessels. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity.Â
