PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — Devastated by a series of hurricanes over the past two years and a rise in competitors with speedy delivery, Off Main Furniture has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and says it will close its four Florida stores.

The lifestyle specialty retailer listed assets $500,000 to $1 million and debts in the $1 million to $10 million range, according court documents.
