Also adds Edwards in sales post

PHOENIX — Aspen Furniture and Aspenhome distributor Furniture Values International has named Bill Reece as director of import product manufacturing.

The company also has promoted Dave Heard to executive vice president of sales for Aspenhome and Aspen Furniture.

Reece was formerly director of Asian operations for manufacturer and importer Pulaski Furniture. At Aspen, he will manage production and quality control overseas.

His experience working with manufacturers in Asia will help the company “more successfully navigate the ever-changing landscape in China and Vietnam,” said Bill Colegrove, general manager of Furniture Values International.

Heard has been with Aspen since 1994 and has been vice president of sales since 1997. He largely will oversee special projects and other aspects of the company’s sales activities.

The company also has hired Bryan Edwards as vice president of sales for the eastern United States. He had been vice president of sales and marketing for Mirador since 2003, and earlier worked at American Drew and Lea Inds.
