Furniture store reopens after fire

FURNITURE World has made a comeback, after a fire broke out in December destroying RM6mil worth of goods.

Within three months, a two-storey building with about 15 lots called Furniture World was built next to Home World along the KL-Seremban Highway.

The new Furniture World, rebuilt at a cost of RM3mil, was launched last Saturday with offers such as coffee-tables, Japanese one-seater sofas, telephone tables, mattresses and office chairs at only RM10 each.

Both Furniture World and Home World are owned by Bestfair Promotion Sdn Bhd.

Bestfair Promotion chairman Chew Boon Choy said there were 30 shops in the two buildings.

“Our one-day promotion today has attracted many customers,”added Chew.

Bestfair Promotion managing director Tan Lian Chai said there would be regular promotions.

“The Furniture World and Home World is a one-stop centre for furniture. There are modern and classic furniture, curtains and kitchen appliances from Spain, Italy, China and eastern Europe.

Furniture World and Home World open from 11am to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 10pm on weekends. Â
